It includes a waiting area with disabled WC, office space and interview rooms.

The need be fully accessible has informed the design at all stages from the planning of the building through to the selection of colours, finishes and fittings. Materials were also chosen to have low environmental impact, long life and to require minimum maintenance.

High acoustic standards are incorporated to ensure confidentiality for clients.

The building is open during day only and the roof shape maximises the use of daylight, allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the plan. Other energy efficiency measures include the use of high performance windows and doors with very low U values to the glazing; high levels of insulation to solid external elements; replacement of inefficient night storage heating with a domestic type central heating system with a condensing gas boiler; high frequency low energy light fittings; good controllability for all services including heating, lighting and ventilation.
